Maintain or Repair: Make a Wise Choice when the CNC EDM Machine is in Abnormal Situation

Ⅰ. What should I do when there is an abnormal situation in the CNC electric discharge machine?

 

When the CNC electric discharge machine works abnormally, we need to do a comprehensive inspection of the CNC electric discharge machine to determine whether the CNC electric discharge machine needs maintenance or repair.

 

Ⅱ. When the CNC electric discharge machine needs maintenance:

 

1. It is necessary to maintain the cleanliness of the machine surface of the CNC electric discharge machine. Dirt will often cause the machine to fail to operate efficiently and normally.

 

2. Inject grease into the guide rail to increase its lubricity. The guide rail plays a basic role in the operation of the CNC EDM, and it is very necessary to keep it unobstructed.

 

3. It is to check and clean the fuel tank to see if the fuel is insufficient, or the fuel tank outlet is blocked, etc., which affects the use of the machine. However, the current CNC spark machines are highly intelligent. Under normal circumstances, when the fuel is insufficient, a corresponding alarm will be issued.

 

The above three methods are for the situation that the CNC electric discharge machine needs maintenance, and if the CNC electric discharge machine does have a fault, when choosing to repair it, it is necessary to record the current condition of the machine, as well as the recent use of the machine. And the working conditions, and then report to the manufacturer of the purchased machine for repair application. When the CNC electric discharge machine fails, professional technicians from the manufacturer are required to deal with it.
